SOUTH GLENS FALLS:  Aubree Jean Bannister, 38 years old, a beautiful soul was granted her angel wings too soon on February 7, 2024 as she passed unexpectedly in her sleep at her home in South Glens Falls.

Aubree came into this world December 6, 1985 and was the first-born daughter of Nina Mary Nichols and James Allen Bannister.  Born in Kansas City, MO and moved to NY at the age of 5.  She graduated from Fort Edward Central School in 2006.

Aubree’s greatest joy was her children and family.  She enjoyed spending time with her loved ones most of all.  She had a passion for saving stray animals.  She enjoyed video games, music, outdoor activities and game shows.  She greatly enjoyed the ocean and dreamed of visiting it.

Aubree is predeceased by her second born daughter, Keara Cooper, her mother Nina DeHues, and her maternal grandparents Shirley and Floyed Winchell.

Left to cherish her memory, her father Bernie (Renee’) DeHues, her daughters Kiana Cooper and Kali Gutierrez; sisters Moriah (William) Hoffer and Hillary Bannister; brother Adam Bannister; nephew Mason Bannister; long time companion James Barbour; Raymond Cooper (father of her first two daughters); Matthew Gutierrez (father of her youngest daughter); long time friend Margaret Freeman and many friends that adored her.

A Celebration of Life will be held at the convenience of the family.
